GET TO KNOW HANNAH
Hannah is often encouraged to strive towards her values of compassion, peace-making, and integrity in family law with a quote by Albert Schweitzer: “My life is my argument”. She is also a firm believer that out of the turmoil of marriage breakdown can emerge redefined, renewed, and authentic relationships.
Hannah returned to her native Vancouver after ten years working and studying in Alberta, Ontario, and the Midwestern United States. She’ll never say no to a mountain hike or urban bike. Always keen to experience new cultures and ways of life, Hannah has spent time adventuring in Peru, Iceland, Honduras, Liberia, Holland, Croatia, the Yukon, the American Southwest, and the Maritimes, where she loves being behind the camera lens.
As part of her commitment to make legal services more accessible, Hannah provides unbundled legal services and is part of the BC Family Unbundling Roster. She has volunteered or interned with several organizations, including Cottage Hospice, the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic for women who have experienced violence, St. Stephen’s Community Mediation Clinic, and Native Child and Family Services. Hannah also regularly volunteers at her church’s Community Dinner night, where she enjoys building relationships by sharing food together.
Today, when she leaves the office, you will find Hannah tending her plants, canning homemade jam, crocheting by the fire, making stellar pies, spending time with her family, exploring Vancouver’s neighbourhoods, and reading a good book.
