I do not count myself out of an opportunity before it begins. I have learned that growth often comes from being willing to take a chance, and that the opportunities we miss are often the ones we never had the courage to pursue.
Armaghan Aliabadi completed her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law where leadership, advocacy, and community service were the highlight of her law school years.
Some of Armaghan’s roles included serving as the Co-President of the Oral Advocacy Club, Executive Editor and Junior Editor at TRU Law Review, a Teaching Assistant for first-year Torts Law, and a three-year volunteer role with Pro Bono Students Canada. She was also selected to compete in the National Family Law Negotiation Competition (2024-2025) and the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot (2025-2026) in Toronto.
Armaghan is passionate about family law because of its direct impact on people’s lives during some of their most challenging and vulnerable moments.
Outside of the office, she likes to spend her time reading, rewatching favorite TV shows, and finding new spots in Vancouver to eat.
