Lorne MacLean, QC, is the founder of MacLean Law and one of Canada’s most experienced and highly rated family lawyers dedicated to family law and divorce in British Columbia. Lorne has had the rare honour of making two appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of the appellants in complex family law cases. Young v. Young remains the leading case on child custody in Canada and Leskun v. Leskun established key principles to be applied to spousal support decisions and when support can be reviewed. Peter Graburn began his career in Ontario, following the path into law after his father Justice Lloyd Graburn, one of the youngest judges in Ontario Supreme Court. It was Judge Graburn who ordered Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones to give a concert for the blind after Peter suggested it as an alternative sentence that would be beneficial to the community. Peter brings a commitment to his work as a family lawyer to ensure all families get clarity and legal advice that is beneficial to all.
Robert McQueen graduated from York University before receiving his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Robert is passionate about obtaining fairness for his clients while recognizing the emotional and financial burdens carried by litigants.
Jian Kang leads our Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese fluent family law team and looks forward to serving the Toronto Chinese community.
