BC PNP Tech Pilot is not a separate BC PNP stream or category. Applicants should still meet the requirements under one of the existing BC PNP categories to be successful in a PNP Tech Pilot Nominee Immigration application.
In the meantime, applicants must also meet the following conditions:
- Have been offered one of the 29 eligible occupations under BC PNP Tech Pilot
- Must have a full-time job offer of at least one year (365 days)
- At the time of application, there must be at least 120 days remaining in the job offer

For recent rounds of invitations, since February 19, 2020, the BC PNP program has held Tech Pilot draws for 3 weeks in a row and removed the guaranteed invitation score. The invitation scores of the regular BC PNP program are expected to be fairly high compared to the BC PNP Tech Pilot where invitation scores had hovered around 90.
